It was through many long nights of partying at Briain O'Briains house, the renowned Tigh Fada Sheamais, in the Gaeltacht area of RathCairn, that brother and sister Jim and Damaris Woods hooked up with local singer/songwriter Gerry Tully. From these great nights of music and song, the aptly named Coisir was born. This album is dedicated to Briain O'Briain.
